Arlene M. Smith,86 of Punxsutawney, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Mulberry Square Elder Care & Rehabilitation Center.
Ms. Smith was born August 31, 1930 in Potter County, a daughter of the late Clark and Helen (Holt) Smith.
Arlene was a member of the Grange Church of God.
She retired from her career at Crestline and later worked for the Punxsutawney Area School District Cafeteria and Shaffer's Pizza. She also loved bowling. Arlene will be greatly missed by many friends and family.
Arlene is survived by one brother; Ronald Smith of Orviston, PA, one sister; Ruth Shaffer of Punxsutawney, and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers; Walter, Donald, David, and Daniel Smith.
Friends will be received October 2, 2016 from 1-3 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home of Punxsutawney where a funeral service will be held at 3 PM with Pastor Janice Bracken officiating.
Interment is private for family. Donations may be made in Ms. Smith's name to the Grange Church of God.
