Brenda K. Guidice

Brenda K. Guidice, 75, of Indiana, formerly of Punxsutawney, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at home with her loving family by her side.

She was born March 10, 1949 to Wesley and Joyce (Yount) Hice in Warren, OH.

Brenda was a long-time member of Saints Cosmas and Damian Roman Catholic Church in Punxsutawney where she was active in various church activities. She enjoyed researching genealogy, cooking, and antiquing. She loved family gatherings and holidays, with Christmas being her favorite holiday. Most importantly in her life was taking care of her family.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years Phillip J. Guidice, Indiana, a daughter, Laura A. Lishinsky and husband Dave, Duncansville, two sons, LTC Phillip J. Guidice, Jr. and wife Maria, Richmond, VA, Dr. Michael J. Guidice and wife Melanie, Punxsutawney, nine grandchildren, Kaitlyn R. Bettwy (Adam ), Braden J. Lishinsky, Rachel A. Lishinsky, Ada C. Zech, Michael J. Guidice, Christina M. Guidice, Gigi Guidice, Kaylee J Guidice, Maggie K. Guidice, two great-grandchildren, Bennett P. Bettwy and Geno M. Bettwy, and a sister, Marianna Marley, a step- sister Sue Reitz, numerous nieces and nephews, and her constant companion, her Papillon Buddy.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Saints Cosmas and Damian Roman Catholic Church, 616 West Mahoning St., Punxsutawney, PA 15767, with Msgr. Joseph Ricardo, Celebrant. 

Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Punxsutawney, PA.
