Charles F. Hinderliter, 84, of Coolspring, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Laurel Brook Personal Care in Brookville.
He was born July 15, 1937, to the late Ervin and Dorothy (Nulph) Hinderliter in Sprankles Mills.
Charlie served peacetime with the United States Army. He attended trade school in Memphis Tennessee to become a lumber inspector. Charlie then returned home and worked for Matson Lumber and Ames Lumber. He then opened Hinderliter Garage in Coolspring. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time in his garage. He loved his wife, Beverly (Sutter) Hinderliter, who they enjoyed over 50 years of marriage before her death in 2012.
He is survived by a son Troy Hinderliter and wife Tammi, Linesville, a daughter, Amy Hinderliter, ID, two grandchildren, Stephanie Singleton and husband Justin, Devin Isbelle and spouse Ashley, four great grandchildren, Atticus Isbelle, Addison, Hadley, Beau Singleton, two sisters Ruby Hinderliter and Ginger Dove Valier, two brothers, Harry Hinderliter and wife Betty, Butler and Terry Hinderliter, Valier and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, wife, two sisters, Elsie Rendt, Betty Hinderliter.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home Inc., 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA 15767. with Pastor Doug Wolfe officiating.
