Clair Edward Preston

Clair Edward Preston, 71, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Friday April 18, 2025, at Mulberry Square, Punxsutawney.

He was born April 22, 1953, in Brookville, to William T. and Caroline (Dixon) Preston.

Clair worked for Musnon Trucking, Church Hill Trucking, Sallack Trucking and retired from ProForm Powered Metal. He enjoyed bowling, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by two sons, Scott E. Preston, and stepson Jason Smith, of Punxsutawney, two grandchildren, Owen and Grayson Preston, a sister Mary Preston, Munderf, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Ruth Stevens and Rose Wolfe, and a brother William Preston.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 3:00 PM until the time of service at 7:00 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home, Inc., 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA 15767.

Interment will take place at Munderf Cemetery.
