David J. Ostrowski

David J. Ostrowski, 77, of Punxsutawney, passed away, Friday, November 2, 2018 at Mulberry Square Elder Care & Rehabilitation Center. David was born February 11, 1941 in Big Run. He was the son of the late Joseph and Theresa Ostrowski. David found his soulmate later in life when he married Loretta S. (Shields) Ostrowski on July 29, 1994. Together they made their home in Punxsutawney, where David enjoyed driving the school bus for Amish kids and continued with his farming. He loved riding on his Harley and just being at home. He was a member of the St. Adrian Catholic Church. In addition to his wife Loretta, he is survived by a step daughter; Lisa Bullers and three step grandsons; James, Jordan and Andrew, Bullers. Sisters in law; Pansy and Violet, along with his brother in law and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister; JoAnn. Friends will be received from 6-8 pm Monday, November 5, 2018 at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney. A Blessing Service will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at the funeral home with Fr. Leo Gallina as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Adrian Anita Catholic Cemetery.
