Debra R. Vrobel

Debra R. Vrobel, 60 of Punxsutawney, passed away May 19, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. Debbie was born September 24, 1956 in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Edwin and Hazel (Hobba) Smith. Debra is survived by her husband of 39 years Edward T. "Ted" Vrobel. They were married October 8, 1977. Debbie played piano at the churches she attended. She loved gardening and being in the outdoors but most of all she loved being with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children; David Vroble and wife Amber, twin daughters; Jessica Vroble and fiance, Chris Smith all of Punxsutawney and Jennifer Fetterman and husband Charlie of Big Run, six grandchildren, her sister; Karen Yoder and husband Frances and her aunt; Georgina Podgers all of Punxsutawney. also surviving are many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters; Carol Smith, Diana Atkinson and Vicky Smith. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.
