Dennis "John" Blose

Dennis "John" Blose, 62 of Punxsutawney, passed away, Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh. John was born March 14, 1955 in Clarion, a son of the late Elmer Dean and Hazel Joan (Croyle) Blose. August 5, 2006 he married his loving wife Patricia M. (Hudzick) Blose who survives. John was a member of the Eddyville Lutheran Church. He was also a member of the John W. Jenks Lodge #534 in Punxsutawney. He spent the last 40 years as a salesman for Stockdale Mine Supply in Frostburg. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved being in the outdoors. In addition to his wife Patricia, he is survived by his children; Jonathan Blose of Worthville, Brandy Juart and husband David along with their children; Gianna and Dawson Juart all of Altoona, one brother; Robert Blose of Fryburg, two sisters; Etta Mae Brown and husband Ronald of Distant, Peggy Snyder and husband Brian of Snydersburg and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving is his former wife Patricia A. Blose of Ringgold. Friends will be received from 2-8 pm Friday, November 3, 2017 at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney. Afuneral service will be held at 11 am Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment at Circle Hill Cemetery is private for family. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Punxsutawney Public Library or the Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
