Dianne Byers

Dianne Byers (Swan), 63, passed away on January, 29, 2025, at the Clearfield Hospital.

She was born on January 3, 1962 to Harold and Naomi (Fohringer) Swan in Spangler.

Dianne graduated from Purchase Line High School. She married the love of her life, Steven Byers on July 25, 1981. She worked as a reporter for the Progress for 37 years. She loved to take care of her granddaughters. Most of all she loved her family.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Tyler Byer (Catherine) of Burnside; her mother; a step-sister; Shelly Evans, of Michigan; five brothers, Harold Swan Jr. (Beth) of Indiana, John Swan of Florida, Dwight Swan of Maryland, Doug Swan (Rhonda) of Lebanon, and Glenn Swan (Leslie) of Lititz; two sisters-in-law, Teresa Evilsizer (James) of Clearfield, and Melissa Keith (Randy) of Baltimore; a mother-in-law, Olive Byers of Ronks; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dianne is preceded in death by her father; and two brother-in-law, David Byers and Bill Freyer; and father-in-law, Arthur Byers.

Family and friends will be welcome to Waldron Funeral Home, 381 Market St., Mahaffey, PA, 15757, on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.

Interment will be at Mahaffey Cemetery.
