Doris Dwyer

Doris A. Dwyer, 80, of Mahaffey, formerly of New Jersey, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023 at her home.

She was born June 6, 1943 to Leo and Ann (Morris) Murzinski in Elizabeth, NJ.

Doris was a registered nurse for over 30 years, working mainly in surgery. She lived most of her life in New Jersey until she and her husband moved to Mahaffey in 2001 after their retirement. Doris enjoyed sailing and traveling. She went on sailing trips with her friends where they would see different places. After nursing school, she moved to Australia for two years where she lived and worked. She had many wonderful stories about her travels.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Joseph Dwyer of Mahaffey, a son, Joseph Dwyer III and wife Rozanne, Roselle Park, NJ, a daughter, Adrianne M. Kemp, Shelburne, VT and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services are private.
