Elizabeth J. "Jane" Woodarek

Elizabeth J. “Jane” Woodarek, 66, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025 at the Indiana Regional Hospital. 

She was born December 15, 1958 to William R. and Elizabeth J. “Betty” (Davis) Colgan in Dayton, Armstrong County.

Jane enjoyed crafting, drawing, visiting with friends and reading.

She is survived by two children, Daniel L. Rankin, Rossiter, Elizabeth J. “Liz” Rankin, Punxsutawney, four grandchildren, Janessa Roy, Isaac Roy, Owen Rankin, and Cooper Rankin, nine siblings, Robert Zugates, William R. Colgan, Jr., Sharon L. Barr, Randy D. Colgan, Jeffrey A. Colgan, Christine Dinger, Michael D. Colgan, Shawn P. Colgan, Holly K. Lingenfelter, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, twin daughters, Crystal and Corinne and her husband Joseph Woodarek in 2011.

Friends will be received on Monday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home Inc., 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA 15767, with Pastor Robyn Smith officiating. 

Interment will take place at Copenhaver Crossroads Cemetery, Dayton.
