Elsie "Kitty" K. Lucas

Elsie K. Lucas, 84, of Home PA passed away on Thursday November 7, 2024 at the Heritage Grove in Indiana.

She was born on April 7th, 1940, to Thomas and Evelyn (McCracken) Allenbaugh in Punxsutawney.

Kitty attended Punxsutawney Area High School. She married the love of her life Dwayne Lucas who sadly passed before she did in 2005. Kitty was an amazing homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She spent much of her time attending to her garden, mowing her lawn, and cooking. Another enjoyable pastime was spent crafting Christmas decorations with her family. She adored her birds Hannah and Hennessy who passed before her. 

Kitty is survived by two sons, John Stamler, Maryland and Dennis Stamler (Desiree), Punxsutawney; five grandchildren, Joseph Stamler (Catherine), Maryland, Megan Stamler, Maryland, Jason Stamler, Punxsutawney, Nicole Stamler, Penfield, and Marcella Titus (Jeff), Home; six Great Grandchildren, Payton Stamler, Maryland, Maddy Stamler, Maryland, Allison Stamler, Maryland, Liam Titus, Home, Noelle Titus, Home, and Presley Titus, Home; one sister, Diane Marvin, New York; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, Fred Allenbaugh; and three sisters, Marge Steiner, Vivian Torrito, and “Molly” Salvaggio. 

The services are private and have been entrusted to McCabe Funeral Home, Inc., 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA, 15767.
