Ethel M. (Smith) Davis

Ethel M. Davis, 93, formally of Punxsutawney passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Mother Angeline McCrory Manor Nursing Home in Columbus, Ohio.

She was born June 1, 1927, in Punxsutawney to the late Irvin Smith and Ada (Whitsell) Smith.

Ethel worked for the former Loree Footwear in Big Run and later became a CNA and worked many years at the former Blose McGreggor Nursing Home.

She is survived by her children, Adda A. Sutter (Jim) of Whitehall, OH, Irvin C. Davis (Sandee) of Westerville, OH, Robert L. Davis (Tammy) of Buxton, NC, Harry C. Davis of Canal Winchester, OH, 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Leroy C. Davis, July 14, 2002, six sisters and two brothers.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 5-8pm and on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at the McCabe Funeral Home Inc., 114, Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA.

Interment will take place at Lakelawn Memorial Park, Reynoldsville, PA
