George T. Reynolds

George T. Reynolds, 67 of Punxsutawney, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2016 at his home. Mr. Reynolds was born February 2, 1949 in Jacksonville, Florida, a son of the late George and Billie Sue (Morris) Reynolds. George was a veteran of the US Navy serving during Vietnam. He was the President of the Punxsutawney Lions Club where he was very active and was instrumental in raising money for the VFW Building Fund. George loved working on cars and anything mechanical, but most of all, he enjoyed his time with his grandchildren.

George is survived by his loving wife, Cindy L. (Trayer) Reynolds of Punxsutawney, his son; Jason Reynolds and wife Caddie of Delmont, step-son; Ryan Bish and wife Yajaira of San Diego, step-daughter; Margie Burkett and husband Ralph of Punxsutawney, one brother; William Reynolds of Indiana, one sister; Sue Elias of Pittsburgh, five grandchildren; Dylan Reynolds, Janell Burkett, Jesse Burkett, Gabriel Bish, Sebastian Bish, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother; Jerry Reynolds, and one sister; Lynn Reynolds.

Friends will be received from 4-8 PM Thursday, December 29 at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney where the Punxsutawney Lions Club will hold a service at 7 pm. A funeral service will be held Friday, December 30 at 11 AM at the funeral home, with Pastor Joe Spack officiating.
