Harold Arthur Michael

Harold A. Michael, 94 of Port Orange, Fl. and formerly of Clearfield County, PA, died Saturday, November 12, 2016, at his home.
Born December 21, 1921, in Coalport, PA, he was a son of Henry Joseph Michael and Daisy Alice (McMasters) Michael. Harold was married on December 3, 1945 to Annibel Hullihen, daughter of Ferdinand Hullihen and Susan (Price) Hullihen of Greenwood Township, Clearfield County, PA.
Harold, better known as "Pete", was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Clair Michael, and his two sisters, Betty (Michael) Smith and Helen (Michael) Smith.
He is survived by his two sons, James H. Michael of Manheim, PA and Richard Michael, Port Orange, Fl., and by his daughter Debbie Scofield of Cliffwood Beach, NJ; seven granchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Harold served in the United States Navy's 532nd CBMU Seabees from 1943 to 1945 on the South Pacific Islands of Guadalcanal, Angura, Pelielu, and Guam. Trained and employed as a machinist, most of his career focuses on building and property management in New Jersey.
A religious service will be held at 1:00 PM following viewing beginning at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 19, at the Waldron Funeral Home in Mahaffey, PA with Rev. Richard LaFountain officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Thompsontown.
