Harold A. "Andy" Smith, 87, of Worthville, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022, at his home.
He was born September 11, 1934 to the late Reed and Elizabeth (Caylor) Smith in Oliver Township.
Harold was a life member of the National Rifle Association and the North American Hunting Club. He was employed by TW-Phillips for 40 years before his retirement in 1996. He enjoyed traveling, hunting and fishing. He and his wife almost traveled to all 50 states. Harold was an avid hunter. Hunting antelope, Elk, mule deer, and whitetail. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, always looking forward to family get-togethers.
He is survived by his wife Lola S. (Good) Smith, of Worthville, whom he married September 7, 1968. Two sons and three daughters, Terry L. Luce and wife Doris, Home, Connie E. Bodenhorn and husband Ed, Coolspring, Sharon G. Barnett and husband Howard, Summerville, Mark A. Smith and wife Michelle, Summerville, Cathy S. Smith, Summerville, 10 grandchildren, 23 great- grandchildren, and 3 great- great grandchildren, a sister Georgiann Geist, Rochester, PA., and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Marlene (Wonderling) Smith, four sisters, Gladys Smith, Jane Byerly, Marion Snyder, Marjorie Johnson, and two brothers, Robert and Reed Smith.
Friends will be received on Friday from 3-7 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home Inc., 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA 15767. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Worthville Cemetery.
