Helen R. Wolfe

Helen R. Wolfe, age 75 of Frostburg, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017 at Mulberry Square Elder Care & Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by her husband Bill and family.
Helen was born December 4, 1941 in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Jess and Mildred (Palmer) Ananea, Sr.
Mrs. Wolfe was a member of Ss. Cosmas & Damian Roman Catholic Church and the Secretary for the ISDA Lodge. She was also a member of the Lindsay Vouluneer Fire company Ladies Auxillary.
In addition to her beloved husband Bill, she is survived by one son; William Wolfe and wife Melinda of Anita, one daughter; Melissa Franchock and husband Neal of Sarver, two grandchildren; Lauren Wolfe and Gabriella Franchock and siblings; Mildred Semanski and Mary "Shorty" Dooley both of New Jersey, Jess Ananea, Jr. of Punxsutawney, Ross Ananea and wife Karen of Brookville, Joe Ananea and wife Maria of Williamsport, Paul Ananea and wife Diane of Brookville and Jack Ananea of Frostburg. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Helen is preceded in death by three brothers; Anthony "Turk" Ananea and two infants; Donald and Edward Ananea.
Friends will be received from 2 until 8 pm Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.
A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 11 am Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Saint Anthony Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Joseph Riccardo as Celebrant.
Private interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
