Homer W. Weimer

Homer W. Weimer, 82, of Derry died Thursday March 24, 2016 at his home. He was born March 9, 1934 in Waterford a son of the late Paul H. and Marie E. Carns Weimer.
Homer was a member of the Derry Rod and Gun Club and Twin Maples. Homer was happiest working and operating his equipment. "Backhoe Willy." Homer was known for his kindness and helpful hand to anyone in need.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Nancy A. Hartshorn Weimer on July 21, 2011.
Homer is survived by his sons Philip C. Weimer (Linda) and Dennis Weimer(Lisa Paxton) all of Derry. Two grandchildren Ryan and Saveria. His true friend Jack "Tiny" Bashioum; family friend Ann Sheetz; and Tina McClurg a home health care worker.
Friends will be received Monday from 2-4 and 6-8pm in the McCabe Funeral Home 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry where a funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 11am. Interment will follow in the Coles Cemetery, Derry.
