Imogene M. "Jeannie" Bair

Imogene (Jeanie) M. Bair, 93, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Marchb16, 2025, at Mulberry Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Punxsutawney on September 20, 1931 to the late Webster and Theda (Smith) Grube.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur E. Bair in 1993, and was the last of her family.

She is survived by her only child, Cathy Read, of Florida; one granddaughter, Jessica Read, and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Known for her deep faith, Imogene was a member of the Woodland Avenue Methodist Church. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be at Ridgemount cemetery.
