Irvin David Hale

Irvin David Hale, 68 of LaJose, passed away on Wednesday August 30, 2023 at Mulberry Square and Rehabilitation in Punxsutawney.

He was born November 5, 1954 to Eugene and Dolores (Bennett) Hale in Clearfield.

Dave was a DJ for events around the area in his younger years, known as “Diamond Dave”. He enjoyed visiting friends at the LaJose Hotel and ate a lot of his evening meals there. His favorite was a burger and a Pepsi. He would always say “Stay safe” when leaving.

He is survived by his best friend; his dog, Buddy and his cat, Kitty, a brother, Phillip Hale and wife Lou Ann, Mahaffey, three sisters; Karen Peace, DuBois, Patti Lindsay, Brooksville, FL, and Shirley Wilson, Rossiter, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters.

A private final family farewell will be celebrated at the Waldron Funeral Home of Mahaffey.
