Jackson Miller

Jackson Miller, 78 of Mahaffey, passed away Saturday, December 17,2016 at his home surrounded by his family. Mr. Miller was born August 6, 1938 in Mahaffey, a son of the late Dallas Miller and Zoe (Baker) Miller. He was a member of Otterbein Gods Missionary Church in Mahaffey. Jackson was a self employed truck driver for lumber and coal companies for many years before retiring. In his past time he enjoyed hunting and farming. Jackson is survived by his loving wife Marjorie E. (Lord) Miller of Mahaffey whom he married August 26, 1961, two sons; Jeffrey T. Miller, Douglas G. Miller and wife April all of Mahaffey, two daughters; Cathy L. Battle and husband Dossey of Florida, Patty A. Bills and husband Garry of Mahaffey, ten grandchildren; Chrysa Thompson, Darin Morris, Jalisa, Jonathan and Jaron Bills, Tyrel, Trenton, Tanner, Tierra and Tagan Miller and one great grandchild; Emily Thompson. Also surviving are one sister; Elaine Smith and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings Avanell Goodyear, Betty Hess, Eleanor Junod, Gene Miller, Louise Woods, Karl Miller, Roy Miller and Jerry Miller. Friends will be received from 9:30 am until 11 am Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Otterbein Gods Missionary Church in Mahaffey where a funeral service will be held at 11 am with Pastor Steve West officiating.
