James E. Gearhart

James E. "Jim" Gearhart, 60, of Curwensville, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Penn Highlands DuBois.

He was born March 16, 1962 to Gerald and Doris (Witherite) Gearhart in Clearfield.

Jim was a 1980 graduate of Curwensville High School. He worked for Target Sportswear for 22 years as a machine operator. Jim then worked for a few local construction companies. Jim was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed hunting and riding motorcycles. He was known as being young at heart in all aspects of his life.

He is survived by two children, a daughter Jessica L. Gearhart and fiancée TJ Buterbaugh Pittsburgh, a son Jarod D. Gearhart, Curwensville, two sisters, Cindy Lemon and husband Johnny, Myrtle Beach, SC, Wendy Kuntz and husband Carl, Mahaffey, special friends, Rebecca Hess, Clearfield and Louanne Gourley, Reynoldsville and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Robert Shear.

Services will be private.

The Waldron Funeral Home of Mahaffey have been entrusted with the services.
