James R. Grinch, 68 of Harrisburg, formerly of Reynoldsville, passed away on Sunday January 23, 2022 in Harrisburg.
He was born December 23, 1953 to Paul and Carrie L. (Cummings) Grinch in DuBois.
Jim graduated from the DuBois Area High School, then went on to Graduate from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). After receiving his respiratory therapy degree, Jim worked for various hospitals throughout the country helping small town hospital set up respiratory therapy units. Jim worked at the Punxsutawney Area Hospital for several years. He also was formerly a co-owner of the Midway Inn in Punxsutawney. Jim was an avid republican, conservative and a supporter of President Donald J. Trump.
He is survived by a sister, Paulette Flicker and husband Rick, Harrisburg, a brother John M. Grinch and wife Penny, OH, four nephews, Sean, Paul and Chase Grinch, Jack Flicker, and two nieces Jennifer and Scarlett Young.
Private services were held for the family.
Interment took place at Lakelawn Memorial Park, Reynoldsville.
