Jane L. Bills

Jane L. Bills, age 84, a former resident of Edinburg passed away Sunday August 2, 2020 in Mahaffey, PA.

She was born in Gloversville, NY on December 31, 1935.  The daughter of the late August and Mertle Sharp Knapp.

Jane was married to Stanley A. Bills on July 20, 1957 and he predeceased her on March 17, 2019.

She was employed for many years as a Teaching Assistant retiring from Gloversville Highschool in 2015. She enjoyed music and in her younger years she was a traveling song evangelist.  She loved working with young people and was a camp counselor for many years.  She was a member of the Northville Pilgrim Holiness Church.  She worked on and volunteered for the Edinburg Emergency Squad.

She is survived by her children; Jerrold Bills (Laurie Merrow) of Northville; Gwen (Tim) Cox, Mountain City, TN; Donalee (Steve) Yarrison, Mill Hall, PA; Ranae Cox, Johnstown NY; Darlene (Bob) Ault, Broadalbin NY; Larry (Debbie) Bills, Edinburg NY; Garry (Patty) Bills, Mahaffey PA; Terry (Michelle) Bills Johnstown NY. One brother Wesley Knapp of Middleburg, PA. Grandchildren: Charlene (James) Melo, Tribes Hill NY; Brandon (Kayla) Bills Amsterdam NY; Justin Bills, Albany NY; Tim (Theresa) Cox, Mountain City, TN; Tonya (Keith) Wells, Mountain City TN; Tyran (Meghan) Cox Mountain City, TN; Lacey (Mark) Glick Howard PA; Lethaniel (Renee) Yarrison , Mill Hall PA; Lance Yarrison, Mill Hall PA; Lanna Yarrison, Mill Hall PA; Lynden Yarrison, Mission SD; Luke Yarrison, Mill Hall PA; Layne Yarrison, Mill Hall PA; Wesley (Emily) Cox, Jr Johnstown NY; Mindy Cox, Johnstown NY; Laree Carlos) Ochoa, Amsterdam NY; Larissa Boozer, Broadalbin NY; Christian (Krista) Bills Edinburg, NY; Kristi Bills, Edinburg NY ; Jalyssa Bills, Penns Creek PA; Jonathan Bills, Mahaffey PA; Jaron Bills, Mahaffey, PA; Rhyleigh Bills, Johnstown NY. Stanley has 29 Great Grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, her brother Peter Knapp, her brother Jerrold Knapp and her son in law Wesley Cox.

A graveside service will be private in Edinburg Cemetery. The Northville Funeral Home of Northville New York are handling the services in New York.

Local arrangements have been entrusted to the Waldron Funeral Home, Mahaffey.
