John A. "Jack" Morley

Burnside

John A. “Jack” Morley, 74, of Burnside, passed away on Saturday June 8, 2024 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.

He was born July 23, 1949 to Sharon and Clara (Bond) Morley in Spangler.

John was a member of Uniontown Church Christ and a long-standing member of the Burnside Volunteer Fire Company. He was a 1968 graduate of Purchase Line High School. Jack worked for Union Camp Corporation in Cleveland Ohio for 15 before moving back to the area. He enjoyed hunting, camping, his pets, talking on CB radios, and taking care of his yard. Most of all Jack loved spending time with his family.   

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Helen M. (Ankeny) Morley, Burnside, a son David J. Morley, (Vanessa Pecze), Mineral Point, a granddaughter Alexandra E. Morley, Mineral Point, a brother Butch Morley, Indiana, and two sisters, Debra Pearce (Gary), Mahaffey, and Carol Coble, Burnside, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister Beverly.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at the Waldron Funeral Home, 831 Market Street, Mahaffey, PA 15757, with Pastor Alan Fox officiating.

Interment will take place at Burnside Cemetery.
