Joyce Ann McCracken

Joyce Ann McCracken, 85 of Mahaffey, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Ridgeview Elder Care in Curwensville.
Mrs. McCracken was born July 27, 1930 in Bells Landing, a daughter of the late Lynn and Nancy (Johnston) Hipps.
She is survived by her loving husband Lynn McCracken of Mahaffey.
Joyce loved doing crafts, crocheting, sewing and plastic canvas.
In addition to her husband Lynn, she is survived by four sons; Gerald McCracken and wife Laura and Dennis and wife Belinda all of Curwensville, Albert McCracken and wife Cheri of Northern Cambria, Robert McCracken and Wendy Walk of Rossiter, one daughter; Cindy McCracken of Mahaffey, one brother; John Hipps of Mahaffey, five sisters; "Boots" Hurd of Clearfield, Marie Adams of New Bethleham, "Tessie" Johnston of Mahaffey, Sandy Hipps of Baltimore, MD., Becky Schurr of Mahaffey, nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by two brothers; Bud and Ted Hipps and one sister; Mary Thompson.
Friends will be received from 2-4 pm Saturday, April 23 at the Waldron Funeral Home in Mahaffey where a funeral service will be held at 4 pm with Pastor James Hurd officiating.
