Larry B. Marshall

Punxsutawney

Larry B. Marshall, 82, of Punxsutawney, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Friday March 15, 2024 at the Punxsutawney Area Hospital. 

 

He was born July 15, 1941 to Lawrence V. and Elizabeth (Watson) Marshall in Marion Center. 

 

Larry attended the Countryside Baptist Church. He graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Computer Science. He retired from IBM as a computer programmer. He enjoyed singing hymns, was a member of the Choral Society and enjoyed playing the trombone. 

 

He is survived by a daughter, Pamela Ann Arriola, Punxsutawney, a sister Janice E. Moore (Clyde), Rural Valley, a niece Wendy Moore, and three nephews, Lee A. Moore, Bernard M. Pella, Mark A. Pella.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Ella Maye (Hoover) and second wife Norma Jean Smith, a son David Allen Marshall, and a sister, Alice Marie (Marshall) Pella Fellows.

 

A private family farewell was held at the McCabe Funeral Home Inc., Punxsutawney.

 

Friends will be received on Tuesday March 26, 2024 from 2:00 PM until the time of service at 3:00 PM at the Countryside Baptist Church., 11250 PA-536, Punxsutawney, PA 15767. 

 

Interment will take place at Marion Center Cemetery.
