Leanna (Fleming) Sutter

Leanna Sutter, 59, of Rossiter, passed away on Sunday July 17, 2022 at UPMC Altoona.

She was born April 1, 1963, to Hayes “Tiny” and Violet "Penny" (Lilly) Fleming in Punxsutawney.

The family has lost an amazing wife, mother, sister, cousin, caregiver and especially a "Grammy".

Leanna was a 1981 graduate of Jeff Tech. She attended Grace United Methodist Church. Leanna was a caregiver for Fayette Resources for over 10 years. She married the love of her life Malvern "Mal" Sutter on November 19, 1983. She adored her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a full-time Grammy. Having been in their lives since they were born. Leanna enjoyed, crafts, Vacation Bible School, painting and spending time at the beach in North Carolina.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years Malvern "Mal" Sutter, Rossiter, two sons, Malvern "JR" Sutter and wife Jocelyn, Punxsutawney, Ryan Sutter and wife Shelby, Rossiter, four grandchildren, Keaton, Michael, Payton and Maleanna, a sister, Tina Barkley and husband Bill, Punxsutawney, Sister-in-laws, Kay Fleming, Punxsutawney, Mitzi Wolfgang and husband Bruce, and Tami Sutter, all of Rossiter, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Hayes "Punkin" Fleming, sister Madge Rishel, and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lee and Barb Sutter

A celebration of life will be held in honor of this magnificent women on Saturday July 30, 2022 at the Rossiter American Legion at 2:00 PM

In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made Malvern Sutter, 169 Johnsonburg Road, Rossiter, PA 15772., for future expenses.

The McCabe Funeral Home Inc, of Punxsutawney have been entrusted with the arrangements.
