Lemoine E. Westover

Lemoine E. Westover, 83 of LaJose, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at UPMC Altoona. Lemoine was born January 2, 1934 in LaJose, a son of the late Carl A. and Eva (Rainey) Westover. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Donna (Bell) Westover. Lemoine was the last of his generation. He attended the Church of the Brethren in Mahaffey. He and his father and brother all sang in the Westover Trio sharing many good years together singing at many churches. He enjoyed going to the Golden Age Senior Center and spending time with his friends there. Lemoine is survived by three sons; Randy Westover and wife Pam of Curwensville, James Westover and wife Renee and Barry Westover all of Westover, one daughter; Janis Weller and husband Stephen of Chambersburg, several grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Two stepson’s; Thomas Hoover and wife Chris of Hershey and Rev. Timothy Hoover and wife Nancy of St. Marys, one step-daughter; Kerri Beck and husband Brian of Cherry Tree. In addition to his wife Donna he was preceded in death by his first wife Lois (Shultz) Hoover-Westover, his great grandson; Cayden Ball, one brother; Preston Westover and one sister; Yvonne Levy. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Waldron Funeral Home in Mahaffey. A funeral service will be held at 11 am Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Timothy Hoover officiating. Interment will follow at Harmony Cemetery.
