Lorraine Jo Kaczynski

Lorraine Jo Kaczynski, 65 of Punxsutawney, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Penn Highlands DuBois. Lorraine was born February 25, 1953 in Punxsutawney to the late John and Josephine (Ferrara) Rostas. She was a devoted member of Ss. Cosmas & Damian Church where she taught CCD for many years. She belonged to the Altar Rosary Society and CD of A. Lorraine was a LPN for over 30 years working in hospitals as well as private care and nursing homes around the area. She was also on the Brookville Board of Directors for the Head Start program. Her biggest passion however was her time with her beloved grandchildren, joking and cooking and making her delicious homemade noodles called dog ears. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Lorraine is survived by her children; Michael Grusky and wife Tifani of Burlington, NC., Jason Grusky and wife Holly, Daniel Ludwig and wife Tessa all of Punxsutawney and Katie Jo Heigley also of Punxsutawney. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Andrew Miller, Brennan, Alec, Matthew, Mary and Luke Grusky, Taegan and Hayden Ludwig, Breonah Johnston, Davian Craft, Sevren and Syvette Mesanko. Siblings; Amber Craig of Marienville, John Pisano and wife Shirley and Joseph Pisano all of Rossiter and numerous nieces and nephews. At Mrs. Kaczynski's request there will be no viewing. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Lorraine Kaczynski Memorial Fund at S&T Bank, Punxsutawney, PA. 15767.
