Mary R. Bellomo

Mary R. Bellomo, age 66 of Punxsutawney, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh, with her family by her side. Mary was born September 16, 1951 in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Robert and Rachael (Liebert) Lantz. Mary was completely devoted to her family. She enjoyed nothing more than to be with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was looking forward to the birth of her next great grandchild. She liked to work on her computer and do cross stitching projects. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, R. Joseph Bellomo of Punxsutawney, two sons; Joe Bellomo and wife Heather of Big Run, John Bellomo and special friend; Alyson Stinson of Millsboro, DE., two daughters; Missy Peffer and husband Scott of Big Run, Michelle McAfee and husband Michael of Punxsutawney, ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Four brothers; James Lantz of Valier, William Lantz of Punxsutawney, Richard Lantz of New Bethlehem, Raymond Lantz of Reynoldsville, two sisters; Anna Galina of Valier, Pamela Depp of Punxsutawney and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 3-5 and 7-9 pm on Monday, May 21, 2018 at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor John Kerr officiating. Interment at Valier Cemetery is private for family.
