Mary A. (Pearce) Fallara

Mary A. Fallara, 63, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born April 26, 1958 to Claude L. and Frances C. (Bair) Pearce in Punxsutawney.

Mary was a member of Saints Cosmas and Damian Catholic Church, Punxsutawney, and Catholic Daughters of America. She graduated from Punxsutawney Area High School in 1976. She attended IUP and received an Associate Degree in Business. She was formerly employed by International Jensen and Sportsware. While working at International Jensen she was involved in organizing the Home for the Holiday's Parade. Most recently Mary was employed at the Punxsutawney Area School District as an administrative assistant. She enjoyed designing and planting flower beds and loved her music.  Mary's family was always close to her heart. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Anthony J. Fallara, Punxsutawney, two sons, Eric J. Fallara and fiancé Dee Dee Moore and Nick Fallara and wife Heidi, both of Punxsutawney, two grandsons, Ryan and Jacob Fallara, two sisters, Ethel Clemens and husband Fred, NC, Clara Mae "Tia" Pearce, Juneau, a brother, Timothy L. Pearce and wife Nancy, Punxsutawney, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Katherine and Claudia Pearce, and five brothers, Ronald, Dallas, Richard, Brian and David Pearce.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 3-7 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home Inc., 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA 15767. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00 AM at Saints Cosmas and Damian Catholic Church with Msgr. Joseph Riccardo celebrant.

Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Punxsutawney.
