Nancy Mae (Smith) Woodbury

Nancy Mae Woodbury, age 64, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born in Punxsutawney on October 5, 1957, to Levi and Dorothy (McMillen) Smith.

Nancy attended the New Beginnings Church and drove school bus for the Punxsutawney Area School District for nearly 30 years.  She loved gardening, cooking, watching Westerns, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her mother, her sisters Joyce (Rob) Berdine of Rices Landing and Patty (Gary) Heitzenrater of Punxsutawney, her caregiver Ed Preston, her sons Jason Smith and Scott (Kasey) Preston, her grandsons Owen and Grayson Preston, all of Punxsutawney, and several aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, father, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends will be received at McCabe Funeral Home, Inc., 114 Maple Avenue, Punxsutawney, PA 15767 on Friday, April 29 from 3 to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 30 at the funeral home with Pastor Devin Wintermyer officiating.

Interment will take place at Markton Cemetery.
