Patricia A. Stewart

Patricia A. Stewart, 78 of Punxsutawney, entered into rest Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 
Christ the King Manor in DuBois.

She was born September 30, 1945 to the late Charles R. and Elizabeth (Holland) Stewart in Punxsutawney. 

Pat was a member of Saint Cosmas and Damian Catholic Church in Punxsutawney. She began working at West End Comet in 1964. She worked in various positions throughout her 48-year career, but mostly in the meat department. She retired when the store closed in 2012. She enjoyed watching the Steelers and visiting her friends camp. She loved living in Fairview and visiting with the neighbors. She was always happy to see anyone she would come in contact with. 

She is survived by three nephews; Timothy Stewart, Jacksonville, FL, Patrick J. Stewart and wife Dottie, Marathon, FL, and Charles R. Stewart and wife Kristin, Tyler, TX and numerous friends. 

She was preceded in death by four brothers; Robert Stewart, Charles E. Stewart, Daniel G. “Guy” Stewart and George H. Stewart, a niece Tammy Stewart, and a God son, Adam Garvin.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 9:30 until 10:30 AM at the McCabe Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney. Following the visitation, a funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at Saint Cosmas and Damian Catholic Church, Punxsutawney with MSGR Joseph Riccardo, Celebrant. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saint Cosmas and Damian Catholic Church, 616 West Mahoning St., Punxsutawney, PA 15767 or Christ the King Manor, 1100, West Long Ave., DuBois, PA 15801.
