Ralph R. Pearce, Jr., 74, of Saltsburg, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.
He was born Ralph R. Pearce, Sr. and Lillie (Shields) Pearce in Urey, Indiana County.
Ralph worked as a coal miner in western Pennsylvania, before moving his family to Gunnison Colorado, where he worked as a guide for hunting and fishing. Then working in meat processing and becoming a property manager. After retiring, Ralph moved to Oklahoma, and Maine, before moving back to Pennsylvania. Ralph enjoyed hunting, fishing, and outdoors.
He is survived by three children, Susan I. Cotten, New York, Ralph R. Pearce, III, Saltsburg, Dawn M. Pearce, Maine, seven grandchildren, Natasha Cotten (Kris), Tatianna Cotten (Farris), Katarina Cotten, Samuel Cotten, Melissa Pearce, Autumn Pearce, Dominick Pearce (Deandra), two great grandchildren, Faylah and Trislynn Hopper, two brothers Mark Pearce (Donna), Rossiter, Milton Pearce (Janice), MT, four sisters, Joline Fleming, Rossiter, Charlotte Holway, Rossiter, Wanda Huey, Punxsutawney, Mary Rhoads, Tyler, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Susan (Lininger) Pearce, in 2020, a son Billy Pearce, a brother Leonard Pearce, Three sisters, Molly Huber, Kathy Gomola, Patty Craft.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 2:00 PM until the time of service at 4:00 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home, Inc, 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA 15767.
