Randall K. "Randy" Bush

Randall K. “Randy” Bush, 57 of Punxsutawney, passed away on Saturday March 1, 2025 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

He was born December 13, 1967 to James Wesley Bush, Sr. and Alma E. (McDonald) Bush in Punxsutawney.

Randy attended the Grange Church of God. He was a graduate of Jeff Tech and Vale Tech Institute. Randy worked for Dayton Lumber Company for many years. He enjoyed camping, riding four-wheelers, restoring muscle cars and trucks for family and friends especially his 1973 Dodge Dart Swinger and 1989 Dodge step side pick-up. Randy loved spending time with his family, most of all his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Gina R. (Minich) Bush, Punxsutawney, two children; Kylie R. Bush (Dustin Zurenda), Anita, and Gage R. Bush, Punxsutawney, three grandchildren; DJ and Lucian Zurenda, and Keegan Schleicher-Bush, a sister, Crystal Hilliard (Tony), Punxsutawney, three brothers, James Wesley Bush, Jr. (Victoria), Punxsutawney, Thomas W. Bush (Michelle), Venus, and Jeffrey S. Bush (April), Punxsutawney, nieces and nephews; Marcus Bush, Dianna Shreckengost, Nichole Martin, Shannon Bush, Logan Bush, Bailey Bush, William Cotherman, and Briana Dunkle and father and mother-in-law, Melvin G. Minich and wife Connie, Limestone, and sister-in-law Barbara S. Dunkle (Kevin), Butler. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Kevin and Timmothy Bush, and two sisters Denise Bush and Patricia McKinney.

Friends will be received on Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 3:00 PM at McCabe Funeral Home, Inc, 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA 15767, with Pastor Marcus John officiating.

Interment will take place at Smicksburg Cemetery.
