Randy L. Howard

Randy L. Howard, 67, of Punxsutawney, entered into rest, Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Penn Highlands, DuBois Hospital.

He was born October 4, 1956 to the late Bernard “Ben” and Louise (Kotula) Howard in Punxsutawney.

Randy was a member of Saint Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church; He was a member of the

National Wild Turkey Federation, where he participated in different projects and events. Randy worked for Doverspike Coal Company as a foreman for over 25 years. He then owned and operated, with his brother, R&R Pro Clean. Randy also took pride in the years he worked as the custodian at the First United Methodist Church in Punxsutawney. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved spending time outside. 

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Regina A. (Gresock) Howard, Punxsutawney, a daughter Stacey Howard-Getch, Punxsutawney, two grandchildren, Jayden and Tyler Getch, a sister Kathy Walker, (Jim), Reynoldsville, a brother, Scott Howard (Holly), Punxsutawney, sister-in-law’s Connie Howard, Punxsutawney, Beth Gresock, Pittsburgh, Nicolette Boy, Pittsburgh, Michele Huey, (Ernie), Punxsutawney, and a brother-in-law, John Gresock (Carol), Punxsutawney, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Tim and Ricky Howard.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 3-7 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home Inc., 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA. A funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 AM at Saint Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, 714 Sutton St., Punxsutawney, PA with Fr. Kadar Vasyl celebrant.

Interment will take place at the Saint Peter and Paul Byzantine Church Cemetery, Punxsutawney.
