Richard Melvin Lee

Richard Melvin (Dick) Lee, 87, of Mahaffey passed away Saturday, February 20th, at the Punxsutawney Hospital. He was born in Mahaffey on February 28, 1928 a son of the late John and Dora (Montgomery) Lee.
Richard is survived by four sisters; Freda Bennett of Mahaffey, Thelma Kauffman and husband George of Coalport, Mary Ann Ewing and Ronald of Clymer, Emma Jane DeWinter of Ramonsville NY, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Richard is preceded in death by his brother James Lee; A sister Anna Mae Lee; two brother in laws Orvis Bennett and Vaughn DeWinter.
Richard worked for Snyder Lumber and Lee Brothers Lumber. He was a member of the Mahaffey VFW.
Family will receive friends from 12 to 2pm, Thursday February 25th at the Waldron Funeral Home,Mahaffey. A funeral service celebrated at 2pm at the Funeral Home with Pastor Isaac Stuart. Interment at Mt.Zion Cemetery is private.
