Robert A. Burdett

Robert A. Burdett, 78 of Punxsutawney passed away Tuesday August 8, 2023 at Mulberry Square in Punxsutawney.

He was born September 1, 1944 to Clair A. and Gladys J (Dawson) Burdett in Ford City.

Bob was a Vietnam veteran serving with the United States Air Force for 23 years before his retirement.

He attended the Woodland Ave. United Methodist Church. After Bob retired from the Air Force, he managed the Punxsutawney Radio Shack for a few years, worked at Rola Jensen and retired from the Jefferson County

Assistance office. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, traveling, woodcarving and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by two daughters Stephanie A. Wysokowski and husband Donald, Annville, Jennifer L. Burdett, Punxsutawney, three grandchildren Zachary, Caitlin and Nicholaus Reitz, and two great grandchildren Oliver and Jeremy Cooper.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
