Russell James Butson

Russell James Butson, 60, of Beaver, passed away on Friday January 10, 2025 at Brighton Rehabilitation and Wellness, Beaver, PA

He was born December 30, 1964 to Mervin J. Butson and Shirley JoAnn (Pierce) Williams in DuBois.

Russell was a graduate of Jeff Tech. He worked at Fairman Drilling and then became a truck driver, driving for various companies. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and dirt track racing with his friend John Reed and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He is survived by a son James Butson, LA, a daughter, Jennifer Butson, Northern Cambria, his mother, JoAnn Williams, a brother, Clyde R. Beck (Amie), all of Punxsutawney, two Uncles, Dick and Gary Butson, Reynoldsville, a nephew Casey Beck, OK, two cousins, Brad and Missy Butson, Reynoldsville.

He was preceded in death by his father, his wife Colleen (Shannon) Butson, maternal grandmother, Shirley Pierce, paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Mary Butson.

Services are private and being held at the convenience of the family.
