Russell “Dick” Marshall, Jr., 81, of Punxsutawney, passed away on December 14th 2024 at his home.
He was born on March 15, 1943, to the late Russell and Lois Marshall in Punxsutawney.
He was the owner and operator of Punxsy Locksmith. He enjoyed watching westerns, going camping and going to Hazen Flea Market and county fairs. Most of all he enjoyed talking to his sisters, family members and friends on the phone.
Russell is survived by his three children; Crystal Rodabaugh, Elda Hill (Bob) of Canoe Ridge, and William Umbaugh of DuBois, eight grandchildren; Loni Lester (Alex), Opal Hazlett, Hope Fox (Joel), Lisa Styslinger, Douglas Bartlebaugh (Kayla), Ashlynn Bartlebaugh, and Caitlin Campbell (Dan), all of Punxsutawney, four great-grandchildren, two dear friends; Tiffany Everetts and William Conner, two sisters; Judy Brock of Grampian and Shirley McKee of Curwensville and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his late wife, Dorothy Bartlebaugh Marshall, dear friend and companion Eunice Long and a brother, Dewey Marshall.
Arrangements have been entrusted to McCabe Funeral Home, Inc. and per Russell’s wishes there will be no public viewing. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
