Shawn A. Smith

Shawn A. Smith, 60, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at home. He was born on August 30, 1963 to Robert Smith and Violet Smith in Punxsutawney.

Shawn attended Punxsutawney High School and then worked as a well tender throughout his life. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.

He is survived by two sons and two daughters; Shawn D. Smith, Punxsutawney, Kayla Stiver, Rossiter, Shayla Smith, Punxsutawney, and Ryder Smith (Renee), Texas; five grandchildren: Brock, Zach, Layla, Shawna, and Hayden Smith; brother, Cliff Smith (Heather), Punxsutawney; sister, Beth Edwards (Chuck), Florida; his aunt Pansy Stiver, Punxsutawney; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Robin E. Smith, Gregory C. Smith and Douglas G. Smith. Friends and family will be received at McCabe Funeral Home, Inc., 114 Maple Avenue, Punxsutawney, PA 15767 on Wednesday from 4pm until the time of service at 6pm.
