Sherry W. Lingenfelter
May 17, 1946 — January 22, 2017
Sherry W. Lingenfelter, 70 of Punxsutawney, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017 at her home with her loving husband by her side.
Sherry was born May 17, 1946 in Charlotte, NC., a daughter of the late Donald C. Weimer Jr. and Margaret (Peele) Weimer.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Thomas C. Lingenfelter of Punxsutawney.
Sherry and Tom loved traveling and going on cruises and also going to show car conventions. They also helped with the soup kitchen at the United Methodist Church in Big Run and made many donations to the Women's Shelter.
In addition to her husband Tom, she is survived by her daughter; Brandi Thomas and husband Scott of Warner Robins, GA., one sister; Vicki Shealy and husband Paul also of Warner Robins, GA., one stepson; Thomas Lingenfelter and wife Gina of Antioch, CA.,one step daughter; Julie Dinsmore and husband David of Warner of Robins GA. Also surviving is one nephew; Marc A. Shealy.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
