Susan B. (Holt) Daugherty

Susan B. Daugherty, 62 of Anita, passed away on Friday July 7, 2023 at the Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born June 27, 1961 to Leo and Martha (Hindman) Holt in Canonsburg, Pa.

Susan was a protestant by faith and faithfully read her Bible. She worked at Paris Cleaners in various positions throughout her career before her retirement. Susan was a fun-loving person that enjoyed sewing, making crafts with her husband, hiking and camping.

She is survived by her husband William J. “Bill” Daugherty of Anita, whom she married February 14, 2012, a daughter, Elizabeth Popp, Canonsburg, two brothers, Herbert “Lee” Holt, Michigan, and Greg Holt, Finleyville, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Bruce Holt.

Friends will be received on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home Inc., 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA 15767.
