Susanna Peace

Susanna Peace, 83 of Clearfield, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Susanna was born January 21, 1935 in Mahaffey to the late Howard and Clara (Daisher) Parrish. Susanna was also preceded in death by her husband Raymond C. Peace, her daughter in law; Clairene Peace and one sister; Dorothy Esposti along with two brothers; William and Charles Parish. Susanna was one of the founders of the Curley Hurd Memorial Park where she was the secretary. She worked at the LaJose Election Board and volunteered for the local soup kitchen in Clearfield. Later in her life she worked many years for the Shaw Library . Susanna enjoyed sewing and just sitting on her front porch. She is survived by her children; David Peace of Westover, Charles Peace and wife Betty of Curwensville, Joseph Peace of LaJose, Shirley Peace & Thersa Guelich and fiance Peter Slefridge all of Clearfield, Daniel Peace and wife Debra of Oklahoma and Cynthia Peace and fiance William Holes of Irvona. Also surviving are two sisters; Eleanor Bouch of Mahaffey and Joann Stiver of Ohio, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, two great - great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service followed by interment in LaJose Cemetery will be held at the conveince of the family.
