Theodore R. “Ted” Clyde, 65 of Mahaffey, passed away, on Friday March 21, 2025 at his home.
He was born April 7, 1959, to Theodore W. and Nellie Margaret (Lines) Clyde in Niagara Falls, NY.
Ted was a 1977 graduate of Curwensville Area High School. He then enlisted into the Army Reserves. Ted worked for the Army Corp. of Engineers as the Curwensville Dam Operator for over 25 years, before retiring in 2015. He enjoyed fishing, nature, riding his motorcycle, working on cars, especially Cadillacs but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Pamela (Halford) Clyde, Mahaffey, two sons, Matthew O. Clyde (Cait), Hyde, Cody J. Clyde (Nikki), Curwensville, eleven grandchildren, Carson, Connor, Trenton, Kamden, Rowen, Nellie, Maeve, River, Brinley and Adessa, a sister, Nancy Engel, Bells Landing, and numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Carol Spencer, a brother “William” Pood Clyde. and his father-in-law Jon Halford.
A private final family farewell was held at the Waldron Funeral Home, Mahaffey.
