Thomas J. "Buzz" Bell

Thomas "Buzz" J. Bell, 84 of Mahaffey passed away Friday, March 25, 2016 at DuBois Nursing Home.
Mr. Bell was born June 10, 1931 in Mahaffey, the son of the late Thornton J. Bell and Wilda (Russell) Bell.
Mr. Bell is survived by three children; Brian Bell of Mahaffey, Greg Bell of Palmrya, and Kelly Yarger of DuBois. He is survived by many grandchildren; Joshua Wazelle and wife Darcy, Jenipher Pierce and husband Bill, Brian T. Bell Jr. and fiancee' Cait, Brittani Bell, Kristin Bell and fiance' Zach, Jeff Bell, and Isaac Bell, and 5 great grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Russell T. Bell of Mahaffey.
He is preceeded in death by his wife, Joyce J. Johnson and two sisters, Helen Clark and Marjorie St. Clair.
Mr. Bell was a Sergeant in the US Army, and a Paratrooper of the 11th Division and the 101st Airborne from 1949-1954. He graduated from the Mahaffey High School in 1948. He also was a beekeeper from the age of 10 and had a great interest in airplanes.
Friends will be received from 2-6 pm Tuesday, March 29 at the Waldron Funeral Home in Mahaffey where a funeral service will follow at 6 pm with Pastor Myron Wattenphul officiating.
