Timothy L. Pearce, 67, of Punxsutawney, passed away on August 8, 2024, at Penn Highlands DuBois.
He was born on October 9, 1956, in Punxsutawney, son of the late Claude and Frances (Bair) Pearce.
As a self-employed contractor, Tim found immense joy in woodworking and treasured moments spent with his beloved family. His passion for creating with his hands and his devotion to his family were at the core of his being. Tim was a member of the Punxsutawney Eagles.
Tim is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Pearce. He is also survived by his children: Kate (Steve) Doverspike of Dayton, Jessica (Glenn) Robinson of Reynoldsville, and Timothy, Jr. (Carly Mumau) of Somerset; his grandchildren: Riley and Stevie Doverspike, as well as Rue, Brody, and Porter Kolash, who brought him great happiness and pride; his sisters: Ethel Clemens of Georgia and Tia Pearce of Juneau, brother-in-law, Tony Fallara of Punxsutawney, sisters-in-law Jean, Kay and Nancy Pearce, as well as numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.
Along with his parents, Tim was preceded in death by three sisters; Katherine Pearce, Claudia Pearce and Mary Fallara and his five brothers Ronald, Richard, Dallas, Brian and David Pearce.
Visitors will be received at McCabe Funeral Home, Inc., 114 Maple Avenue, Punxsutawney, PA from 3-7 pm on Monday and from 10 am until the time of service at 11am on Tuesday, August 13th with Rev. Kobs and Pastor Terry Semsick co-officiating. Graveside services will follow at Gilgal Cemetery.
