Vickie L. (Wright) Waltman

Vickie L. Waltman, 64, of New Bethlehem, formally of Punxsutawney, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 surrounded by family.

She was born December 15, 1957 to Robert and Mary (Price) Wright in Spangler.

Vickie was a foster parent for many years, but before that she was a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Vickie married her best friend, David O. Waltman, on June 23, 1984. Vickie was a fan of the Steelers, loved crocheting, gardening, hummingbirds, and spending time with her family as often as possible.

She is survived by two daughters: Jessica Waltman, Punxsutawney; Carrie and Brian Snyder, Punxsutawney. Three grandchildren; Mackenzie Waltman, Mason Synder, and Brady Snyder. Three sisters; Ginger and Don Felgar, Penny Delucia, and Cindy and Howie Tapper. Two brothers; Mike and Gina Wright and Randy and Kathy Wright. Sister-in-Law; Carol and Ted Wells and brother in laws: Robert and Doreen Waltman, John Waltman, Ralph Waltman, and George and Mary Waltman. As well as numerous nephews and nieces.

In addition to her parents, she will be preceded in death by her husband, David Waltman; her mother and father in law, Sophie and Ralph Waltman; her sister and brother in law, Anna Mae and Jerry Pierce; sister in law, Charlene Waltman; her sister in law, Leticia “Laddie” Waltman, and nephew William “Bill” Waltman.

Friends and family will be welcomed on Friday, May 6 from 3-7 PM, at the McCabe Funeral Home Inc. 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA 15767. A funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, May 7 at 11 AM with Pastor James officiating.
