Virginia L. Seger

Virginia L. Seger, born on September 15, 1937, in Punxsutawney, passed away on December 13, 2024, at the DuBois Nursing Home in DuBois. Virginia was a devoted homemaker who cherished her role in taking care of her husband and their two sons.

After graduating high school, she dedicated herself to her family, where she took pride in maintaining a beautiful yard, canning, crocheting, and enjoying puzzles. Virginia's home was a reflection of her care and love, creating a warm environment for her family.

She is survived by her two sons, Ronald Seger and his wife Sherry, and Terry Seger and his wife Rhonda. Virginia was also a proud grandmother to three grandchildren: Katie Colgan (Nate), Daniel Seger (Samantha), and Michele Davis (Chase). Her legacy continues with two great-grandchildren, Kalie and Natalie Colgan.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Bessie (Gray) Stiteler, and her husband, Charles "Spark" Seger. She will be remembered fondly by her family and all who knew her.

Services are private and have been entrusted to McCabe Funeral Home, Inc., 114 Maple Avenue, Punxsutawney, PA  15767.  Interment will take place at Union Cemetery in Rossiter, Pennsylvania.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Virginia's memory to Lisa's Ladybugs, PO Box 692, Punxsutawney, PA  15767.
