Vonnie F. Milliron

Vonnie F. Milliron, 85, of Punxsutawney passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at her home with her family by her side.

Vonnie was born in Punxsutawney on December 22, 1939 to Clyde and Clara (Bouch) Strawcutter.

She attended Punxsutawney Area High School. Vonnie married her husband Jacob Ray Milliron in early January of 1958. She worked as a grocery stocker at Bi Lo and on the line at Rolo Jensen. Vonnie enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, anything outdoors. She adored her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Most of all Vonnie loved her family.

Vonnie is survived by three children, Cynthia L. Arbaugh, Treasure Lake, Cathy L. Riggie (Jim), Punxsutawney, and Daniel Milliron (Carolyn), Punxsutawney; four grandchildren, Shannon LaBorde (Chad), Punxsutawney, Shawn Arbaugh (Jessi), Treasure Lake, Stacey Riggie, Punxsutawney, and Jacob Milliron, Punxsutawney; eight great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; a brother, Phillip Strawcutter; a sister, Arlie Stahlman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two grandsons, Stephen Arbaugh, and Josh Riggie; son-in-law, Steve Arbaugh; and eleven siblings.

Friends and family will be welcome at McCabe Funeral Home, inc., 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA, 15767 on Friday, April 18, 2025 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM until the time of service at 7:00 PM with Pastor Robin Smith officiating.
